Blowing bubbles is cool, but making a bubble out of ice is even cooler. Find out how to make your own ice bubble in this science experiment

You Will Need :

  • Dry Ice
  • Water
  • Bubble Solution
  • Small Piece of Cloth
  • Pair of Gloves
  • Bowl or Dish

Process :

Begin by pouring warm water into the bowl. Add in some dry ice until you start to see what appears as fog. Remember, never touch the dry ice with your bare hands as it will burn them. Dip your piece of cloth into the bubble solution. Rub it around the ring of the bowl. Now, take your piece of cloth and wipe it across the top of the bowl to create a bubble. The dry ice is sublimating which forms carbon dioxide gas and fills the bubble. You can use tonic water with a black light if you want your bubbles to glow in the dark.
